Nicole King is an actor based in New York City and a recent graduate of Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University. Born of a Belgian and Finnish mother and a Nigerian father in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Nicole started her training at Saint Paul Conservatory for Performing Artists with her professional acting debut at The Children’s Theatre Company in 2009.
Since then, Nicole has had the pleasure of living and training in London, England at Shakespeare’s Globe where she nurtured a deep passion for studying classical text. Nicole looks forward to working at Syracuse Stage this upcoming fall in Possessing Harriet in the title role. She is currently represented by Wolf Talent Group.
In addition to this project, she is in full swing with the development of “Bad Space”, a theater company that aims to organically re-invent story-telling by way of word, wisdom, and women. Her mission (with co-founder Simone Grossman) is to create a fully operating theatre with an educational wing for young girls, providing them with tools for self expression through performance.
